Through the instant petition, as filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have sought issuance of directions upon the respondents No.2 and 3, to ensure protection of their lives and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4 to 8, and, also to restrain the said respondents from harassing the petitioners or interfering in their life. 2.
At the very outset, the learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, has informed this Court that, during the course of inquiry, the inquiry officer concerned has recorded the statement of petitioner No.1, wherein, she has stated that she does not perceive any threat at the hands of the persons, who are arrayed as private respondents in the instant writ petition.

In view of the above, the instant petition becomes infructuous. Therefore, the instant petition is dismissed, as having been rendered infructuous.
