1. The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and of other members of the family as she apprehends threat to the same at the hands of private respondents.

2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application to respondent No.5-Station House Officer, Police Station P.A.U, Hambra Road, Diary Complex, Ludhiana delineating therein the reasons for apprehending threat. CRWP-11799-2024 (O&M) ( 2 ) from today, the same shall be examined thoroughly by respondent No.5 as regards the alleged threat perception. In case, there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner or to other immediate members of her family, necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner or to other immediate members of her family.

3. A copy of this order be sent to respondent No.5-Station House Officer, Police Station P.A.U, Hambra Road, Diary Complex, Ludhiana, for necessary compliance.
