1. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, to get representation dated 27.11.2024 (Annexure P-1) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioners in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon.

2. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 27.11.2024 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, for necessary compliance.
