Present third petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, 'the BNSS') for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.243 dated 02.12.2023, under Sections 21, 25 & 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 379 & 411 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (added subsequently), registered at Police Station Sidhwan Bet, District Ludhiana.

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, wishes to withdraw the present petition, "at this stage". 3.
