MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.82 dated 29.08.2024 under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Punjab Agriculture University, District Ludhiana.

Vide order dated 10.03.2025, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner has reiterated that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. He submits that the complainant, in violation of the agreement, failed to pay the electricity dues, leading to the disconnection of the electricity meter. As a result, the petitioner suffered losses due to the negligence of the complainant."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 10.03.2025, the petitioner has joined PUNEET SACHDEVA 2025.07.07 13:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Learned State counsel, on instructions, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for his custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 10.03.2025, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) BNSS.
