The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of award dated 09.03.2024 whereby a false compromise was entered into by respondent No.2 in connivance with respondent No.3 before learned Lok Adalat. He is also seeking stay on the operation of the impugned award. 2.

As per petition, the petitioner issued a blank cheque in discharge of the loan advanced by respondent No.3. The cheque was dishonoured on presentation. Respondent No.3 filed a complaint before learned trial Court seeking action against the petitioner for dishonour of cheque. The petitioner through respondent No.2, who is an Advocate, entered into a compromise for the settlement of complaint pursuant to which the complaint was referred to Lok Adalat which in the light of compromise passed award dated 09.03.2024.
