Learned State counsel refers to para 21 of the status report dated 18.11.2025 filed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division, Nabha, District Patiala, which reads thus:

"That from the inquiry conducted, it has been found that the witness statements of Karamjit Singh and Gurjant Singh recorded on 03.11.2025 both state that on 08.08.2025 at about 07 to 08 o'clock at night, they were called by Beant Singh father of petitioner no. 1 to his house regarding a quarrel being committed by Ekamjot Singh. That both the witnesses have stated that Ekamjot Singh was quarrelling with the family in an intoxicated state and that in front of them no one administered any kind of beating to Ekamjot Singh. That further, the CCTV video footage presented by Beant Singh son of Chhajju Singh vide General Diary no. 034 dated 11.11.2025 shows that Gurjant Singh Sarpanch and Karamjit Singh were present at the house of Beant Singh at the relevant time on 08.08.2025 and that Ekamjot Singh was not subject to any kind of beating.

That the said witness statements and CCTV footage contradict the allegations made by the petitioners in the present petition regarding the alleged beating by respondent no.4 Gurcharan Singh." MOHIT 2026.03.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed. 3.
