(Oral) The present petition has been filed for seeking quashing of impugned order dated 17.08.2024 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Batala in complaint case bearing No.COMI-31-2018 titled as "Balbir Singh Vs. Jagroop Singh", whereby the application dated 15.05.2024 filed by the petitioner under Section 311 Cr.P.C. for completing complainant's evidence by treating further cross-examination by the accused/respondent No.1 herein as Nil has been dismissed.

Learned State Counsel submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, inasmuch as the trial proceedings in the main case i.e. Complaint Case No.COMI-31-2018 pending before the Trial Court, have already concluded vide order dated 04.12.2024 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Batala, and respondent No. 1/accused has since been acquitted.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
