The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case DDR No.49 dated 14.08.2025, registered under Sections 118(1), 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023 (Section 118(2) of BNS, 2023 added later on vide GD No.27 dated 15.08.2025), which is a cross version of FIR No.110 dated 14.08.2025 registered under Sections 118(1), 193(3), 190 of BNS, 2023 (Section 118(2) of BNS, 2023 added later on vide GD No.26 dated 15.08.2025) at Police Station Vairoke, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and, on instructions from ASI Mahinder Singh, further submits that the petitioners are not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. 4.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 29.10.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
