Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody only for 10 months and 17 days and the petitioner being husband is accused of throwing his wife Amanpreet Kaur in the canal alongwith co-accused, who is his mother and the complainant in such a case is necessary to be examined, in view of which, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition, at this stage.
