H.S. Grewal, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya -1Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), seeking regular bail in FIR No.24 dated 14.02.2018 under Sections 304 and 34 IPC registered at Police Station Ladhuwal, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner alongwith his coaccused had taken the son (since deceased ) of the complainant and they all had consumed drugs together, however, the deceased namely Hardeep Singh @ Sunny Kuba died of overdose. It is stated that the petitioner himself was a drug addict.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody for the period of 01 year, 09 months and 01 day. He further submits that out of total 11 cited prosecution witnesses, 07 have been examined so far. He further submits that the petitioner is not involved in any other case. 4.

Hence, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is allowed. The petitioner is granted the concession of regular bail, on his furnishing requisite bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate/ Chief Judicial Magistrate concerned. 8.
It is however, made clear that in case during his bail, if the petitioner indulges in any offence, the State shall be at liberty to file an application for cancellation of bail of the petitioner. 9.
