(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS is for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to get the enquiry conducted in complaint No.537/2022 dated 14.10.2022 (Annexure P-2), pending before respondent No.3 in a time bound manner. In compliance of the order dated 20.02.2025, status report by way of affidavit of Palwinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Bureau, Economic Offences Wing, Ludhiana, has been filed, which is taken on record.

In view of the findings contained in the aforesaid affidavit, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke alternative appropriate remedy on the same cause of action in accordance with law for redressal of grievances raised in the present petition.
