The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of orders dated 10.05.2023 & 19.09.2022 passed by this Court in CRWP-8560-2022.

This Court had passed the following order in CRWP-85602022, vide its order dated 10.05.2023:- "In compliance to the order dated 08.05.2023 of this Court, the detenue (Kanta); her daughter (Yanshu) and the petitioner (Sonu Kumar) have been produced in the Court by Mr. Ashok Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (H.Q.), Hisar, who is also present in the Court. Reply by way of affidavit dated 06.05.2023 of Mr. Ashok Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (H.Q.),
-2Hisar, on behalf of the respondent-State has been filed by the learned State counsel in Court today and the same is taken on record and copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. In para no.7 of the reply, it has been averred as under:- "7. That as far as providing security outside the safe house is concerned; the same can be provided in view of the threat to the couple within the jurisdiction of Hisar Police District." Since, the petitioner, detenue- Kanta and her daughter Yanshu are being provided security by the Hisar Police to protect their life and liberty at Hisar, therefore, no further action survives in the present petition. Let the petitioner, detenue - Kanta and her daughter - Yanshu be released from the safe house within a period of one week and their life and liberty be protected by Hisar Police at Hisar.
Disposed of accordingly."

In compliance of the orders dated 10.05.2023 & 19.09.2022 passed by this Court in CRWP-8560-2022, compliance affidavit dated 10.02.2025 of Mr. Shashank Kumar Sawan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Hisar, along with Annexures R-1 to R-6, has been filed on behalf of respondents before the Registry. The same is taken on record. 4.
A perusal of the compliance affidavit shows that orders dated 10.05.2023 & 19.09.2022 passed by this Court in CRWP-8560-2022 have been complied with.

In view of the above, since orders dated 10.05.2023 & 19.09.2022 passed by this Court in CRWP-8560-2022 have already been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged.
