Through the instant writ petition, prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondent(s) to consider naming the Government High School, Landran, District S.A.S. Nagar, after the name of late Shri Ajmer Singh, Freedom Fighter and Tamra Patra Awardee, who belonged to the same village.

On 12.12.2024, the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had passed the following order:- "Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that the petitioner shall undertake construction/renovation of the toilets in the Government High School, Landran and shall also look into other deficiencies in amenities and take steps to remove those deficits. He prays for a period of six weeks to do the needful before cognizance of the present writ petition is taken.
On his request, case is adjourned to 06.02.2025." 3.
Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has informed DEVINDER YADAV 2025.02.07 14:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-33437-2024 this Court that, the directions embodied in the order (supra) could not be complied with on account of non-cooperation by the Principal of the School.

Without going into merits of this writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate at this stage to direct the respondent No.1 to treat this writ petition as a representation and make a decision thereon, but, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 5.
Disposed of accordingly.
