*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to issue a renewed passport to the petitioner.

Ms. Monica Chawla, Advocate, who has appeared on behalf of the respondent(s)-Union of India, pursuant to the advance copy of petition having been sent to the Union of India, informs the Court that so far as the application submitted by the petitioner for re-issuance of his passport is concerned, the same has been decided by the Regional Passport Officer by passing an order dated 06.01.2025. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedies against the order dated 06.01.2025, passed by Regional Passport Officer in accordance with law. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
