The petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to official respondents to complete the investigation in FIR No.182 dated 05.07.2024 under Sections 333, 117(2), 115, 351 and 190 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 registered at Police Station City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala without any further delay and submit the charge-sheet. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though the FIR in question was registered way-back on 05.07.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 333, 117(2), 115, 351 and 190 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, however, the official respondents/Investigating agency had been sitting over the matter and had not presented challan till date. A prayer has therefore, been made for completion of the investigation at the earliest and for presentation of challan. 3.

However, learned State counsel submits that the challan is ready and would be presented before the Court of competent jurisdiction within the next one week.

In view of the instructions received by the learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the instant petition.
