In the present writ petition, petitioners are praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to release retiral benefits to the petitioner on account of death of their son.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as a representation and decide the case of the petitioners for grant of retiral benefits, in accordance with law, in a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as a representation and to consider and decide the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law/rules 6.
In case, the petitioners are entitled for grant of relief as claimed by them, as per law, the same be also released within a period of one month thereafter.
