Mr. HS Deol, Sr. Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. **** SHEEL NAGU, CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral) The petitioner has filed this petition for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 48 dated 06.07.2024 under Sections 137(2) and 62 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita-2023 registered at Police Station Block Majri, District SAS Nagar.

The petitioner is in custody since 06.07.2024 for the offences arising out of a dispute with regard to car parking between the petitioner and the complainant. The petitioner is alleged with the offence of attempt to kidnapping the child of the complainant.

Since the investigation is over and therefore custodial interrogation is not required and the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedents, this Court extends the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner subject to his furnishing personal bonds for a sum of Rs.50000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of trial Court/Duty Magistrate.

It is made clear that the observations made herein shall not be construed as opinion on the merits of the case. 5.
This order shall also remain subject to the following condition:- i) The petitioner shall plant 10 saplings of indigenous plants at a public place and submit proof in that regard by way of photographs before the concerned trial Court within a period of 15 days and if there is no such intimation submitted or intimation is found to be incorrect, then the State can move an application for cancellation of his bail.
