This is a petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 23.01.2025 passed in CWP-1781-2025. 2.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Mr. Shashi Gagg, Assistant Director, Legal, Department of Education, Punjab, has pointed out that the requisite sanction has already been accorded and the amount would be released within a week from today. 3.

In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off as such. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. 4.

Needless to say that if the amount is not released within a period of one week from today, the petitioner would always be at liberty to get the present petition revived.
