(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to declare the petitioners' results and offer them appointment to the posts of TGT (ROH and Mewat cadre) in response to advertisement 02/2023, dated 21.02.2023.

Pursuant to the last order, dated 12.12.2024, petitioners' result has been produced which has been retained on record as Annexure 'A'. It shows petitioner no.1 has been selected for the post of TGT English, whereas petitioner no.2 could not be selected due to being lower in merit. Accordingly, the petition qua petitioner no.2 does not survive for adjudication, and stands disposed of qua him by directing the Commission to formally declare his result. Since petitioner no.1 has been selected, Commission is directed to recommend his name and he shall be appointed by the Department as TGT English as per merit, subject to fulfilling the requisite conditions. The appointment shall be with all notional service benefits from the date other selected candidates pursuant to the advertisement in question have been appointed. The directions shall be carried out by the respondents within four weeks of receiving a certified copy of the order. 4.
