The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to pay the balance salary by protecting the same to the extent which the petitioners were being paid i.e. 21,305/- plus increments, at the time when they were inducted in their respective posts, because the respondents reduced their salaries and started paying them much less i.e. Rs.18,611/- after getting them inducted under HKRNL, which is in complete violation of Clause-VII of the notification dated 19.01.2022.

Learned counsel would contend that regarding the claim raised in the present petition, a representation dated 04.06.2024 (Annexure P-6) has been given to the respondents, but the same has yet not evoked any response. She thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioners prays that a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 04.06.2024 within a period of 04 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
