The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.201 dated 14.10.2025 registered under Sections 316(2), 318(4) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023, at Police Station Saha, District Ambala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case. He further submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Sh. Suresh Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Barara, District Ambala, has been filed by leaned State counsel and the same is taken on record. CRM-M-60992-2025 (O&M) ( 2 ) has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and, on instructions from ASI Rohit Kumar further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation.

Learned counsel for the complainant has admitted the factum of compromise.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 31.10.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
