Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.72, dated 11.10.2024, under Sections 21/29/61/85 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station D Division, District Amritsar.

Recovery of 478 grams of heroin has been effected from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has remained inside jail for a period of one year and three months.

This Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present petition, by granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition for regular bail, in case evidence before the trial Court is not completed within a period of next four months.
