(Oral) The prayer in the petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.136 dated 22.05.2022 under Section 420 IPC, 1860 registered at P.S. Rama Mandi, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar, District Jalandhar. Short reply dated 29.01.2025 by way of an affidavit of Rishabh Bhola, IPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, (North) Police Commissionerate Jalandhar has been filed on behalf of respondent - State by the learned State counsel and the same is taken on record. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 13.12.2024 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of orders dated 13.12.2024 and is not required for custodial interrogation.
