Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, although he has an arguable case on merits, however, in view of the fact that the term of the Municipal Council is coming to an end on 14.04.2026, the present petition, may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further, as even if the petitioner succeeds, he would not be able to enjoy the post of President in question.
