In the present writ petition, petitioners are praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to permit them to continue their services till the regular selections to the post of Assistant Professor in Physics take place and further prayed that the petitioners may also be granted minimum of the pay scale besides grant of maternity leave in the case of petitioner No.1.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as a representation and decide the same in a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as a representation and decide the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law. 6.

In case, the petitioners are entitled for grant of relief as claimed by them, as per law, the same be also released within a period of one month thereafter.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of accordingly.
