In the present writ petition, petitioners are praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to consider their case for grant of one additional increment in addition to their normal pay, being working in border areas, in terms of the Punjab Educational (Teaching Cadre) Border Area Group C Service Rules, 2018 (Ansnexue P2). 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice 23.07.2025 (Annexure P4) served by the petitioners, in a time bound manner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the legal notice 23.07.2025 (Annexure P4) served by the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
