The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of directions to the learned Trial Court at Phul, District Bathinda, to decide NACT Complaint No. COMA-182/2019 (Transfer No. 313 of 2023), dated 21.05.2019, instituted under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, in a time-bound manner.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.

I have gone through the record available.

From the perusal of the record as well as the zimni orders placed on file, it transpires that the proceedings could not progress earlier on account of the outbreak of COVID-19. Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, this Court does not find any ground to issue directions to the learned Trial Court to decide the complaint in a time-bound manner. Moreover, the petitioner is required to approach the learned Sessions at the first instance for the same. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed.
