At the asking of the Court, Ms. Mahima Yashpal, DAG, Haryana appears and accepts notice for respondents-State of Haryana. Learned State counsel (on instructions from ASI Sanjay) has brought to the notice of this Court that the concerned Investigation Officer has prepared a cancellation report and the same is pending adjudication before the Superintendent of Police.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition in hand so as to enable the petitioner to avail alternative remedy as available in law.
