In the present writ petition, petitioners are praying for issuance of a direction to respondents to enforce statutory pay fixation under the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (Group-A) Service Rules, 2016 dated 27.06.2016 (Annexure P5). It is also prayed that a direction be also given to the respondents to pay the arrears on the revised pay scale/pay fixed under the relevant rules along with 9% interest per annum. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice 17.10.2025 (Annexure P11) served by the petitioners, in a time bound manner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the legal notice 17.10.2025 (Annexure P11) served by the petitioners within a period of two month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of accordingly.

Copy of this order be supplied to respondent No.3 for compliance.
