Through the instant writ petition, prayer is made for restraining the respondents No.3 and 4 from holding third enquiry/ multiple enquiries in violation of the order dated 12.01.2009 (Annexure P4), as the respondents No.3 and 4 have initiated third enquiry after registration of FIR No.90 dated 20.12.2022, under Sections 406, 420, 506, 120-B of the IPC, P.S. Handesra, District S.A.S. Nagar. 2.

The learned State counsel, on instructions imparted to him by HC Bhupinder Singh, has informed this Court that, cancellation report in the FIR (supra) has already been prepared and the same is pending approval before the higher authority(ies). He assures that, the higher authority(ies) will take final decision on the cancellation report within 15 days, and if approval is granted, the cancellation report will be presented DEVINDER YADAV 2025.05.26 09:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

In view of the assurance (supra), no direction is required to be passed. Hence, the instant writ petition is closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to, in the event of non-abidance of assurance (supra), make the apposite application for revival of the instant writ petition.
