In the present writ petition, petitioner has challenged the impugned judgment dated 17.10.2025 (Annexure P1) passed by the Educational Tribunal, Punjab whereby, the petition filed by the petitioner against his illegal retrenchment has been dismissed. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it was a specific case of the petitioner that he was teaching B.Com (Economics) along with M.A. (Economics). He submitted that before retrenchment, approval of the Education Department was mandatory. Learned counsel submits that the above said contention of the petitioner was not taken into consideration by the Educational Tribunal, while deciding the petition No.87 of 2023 vide order dated 17.10.2025 (Annexure P1). withdraw the present petition with liberty to file review application before the Tribunal taking the above said grounds.
