(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the District Collector, Faridabad (respondent No.2) to decide the appeal titled as "Jahangir Singh (Deceased) through his LRs. vs. Shankar Singh (Deceased) through his LRs.", which is stated to be pending consideration for 18.11.2025.

On advance service of copy of petition, appears on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in all probability, the above referred appeal would be considered and decided by the concerned/competent authority within a period of six months from today, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties. 3.
