Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to release gratuity, leave encashment, D.A. instalments and medical reimbursement to the petitioner with interest @ 18% per annum.

Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that all admissible dues have been released to the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only medical reimbursement to the tune of Rs.1,28,042/- is still pending. 4.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that he has taken instructions from the concerned quarter and the claim of the petitioner for medical reimbursement of Rs.1,28,042/- would be released within a period of six weeks from today. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to release the outstanding medical reimbursement amount of Rs.1,28,042/- to the petitioner within a period of four months from today. Respondent No.3 shall also pay interest @ 6% per annum on account of the delay in releasing the said amount in terms of the Full Bench judgment of this Court in A.S. Randhawa Supg.
