Present petition has been filed by the petitioners namely Amanjot Kaur, aged about 27 years, and Harinder, aged about 25 years, seeking direction to the official respondents to ensure protection of life and personal liberty of them from the hand of private respondents. 2.

On advance notice, Mr. Kanwar Sanjiv Kumar, AAG, Haryana, puts an appearance on behalf of the respondent/State, and files status report dated 14.01.2025, which is taken on record.

From the facts available on record and as pointed out by learned State counsel also, it is noticed that petitioner No.1 namely Amanjot Kaur, is already married to respondent No.4 namely Gulab Singh, and is blessed with one child, out of the said wedlock.

Despite, having called twice, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.
