The instant petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for grant of regular bail to the petitioner - Harvinder Singh Dhot alias Price, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Sections 379-A, 506 of IPC (Section 411 of IPC added later on), in FIR No. 36, dated 24.02.2024, registered at Police Station Siwan, District Kaithal. 2.

At the outset, learned State counsel has filed the status report dated 23.01.2025 along with statements of the material witnesses i.e. Dalwinder Kaur (PW-2) and Paramjeet Kaur (PW-3), in Court today. Same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place.

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the present petition at this stage. 4.

Dismissed, as same being not pressed.
