Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondent. 2.

Pursuant to the order, dated 17.12.2024, learned State counsel has filed short reply, dated 22.01.2025, by way of affidavit of Anil Kumar Bhanot (PPS), Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana (Central) on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. The same is taken on record. Learned State counsel has drawn attention of this Court to para No.4 of the reply and submitted that representation was filed by the petitioner and necessary action on the same for ensuring the protection of his life and liberty has already been taken.

In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of.
