Learned counsel for respondents No. 3 and 4 informs that in pursuance to the recommendation letter dated 15.01.2025; the name of the petitioner is being recommended for the post of Lower Division Clerk, even he has been granted provisional appointment and the entire process regarding the regular appointment shall be concluded within a period of 15 days from today and he shall be made to join. In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed. Rule stands discharged.

However, in case the needful is not done within the aforementioned period, as per the undertaking, the petitioner would be at liberty to seek revival of the contempt petition and in that eventuality, the erring/concerned officer would be liable to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/-as cost(s) from his/her own pocket in favour of the petitioner towards litigation expenses, immediately i.e. on the first date of listing of revival application.
