On asking of this Court, Mr. Kewal Singh, Addl. A.G. Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State. He stated that representation will be disposed of on merits within a period of two weeks. 5.
Considering the aforesaid factual position, criminal writ petition filed by petitioner is disposed of with the direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 10.12.2024 (Annexure P-3) within two weeks and considering the threat perception adequate steps be taken to protect life and liberty of petitioner and his family members.
