Learned counsel would contend that the petitioners are entitled to be retained in the seniority position, as per the tentative list circulated, Annexure P-4, in wake of the fact that the rejection of similar representations, however, still vide letter dated 08.08.2024, Annexure P-11, the position is being altered. In this regard, a representation dated 15.10.2024, Annexure P-12, has been submitted by them, but the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioners, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner in light of the judgments passed by this Court, Annexures P-8 and P-9.
