Mr. Amit Rana, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.180 dated 18.11.2024, under Sections 118, 115(2), 191(3), 190, 238(1), 133 of the B.N.S., 2023, registered at Police Station City Gurdaspur.

Vide order dated 19.12.2024 passed by a coordinate Bench, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "On asking for the relief (supra), learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia placed reliance on the order dated 12.12.2024, passed by this Court in CRM-M-62408-2024, to submit that the present petitioner is on co-equal pedestal with the petitioner Ramandeep @ Raman Sodhi (the petitioner in CRM-M-62408-2024), as the injury attributed to the present petitioner has resulted in simple in nature." 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 19.12.2024, the petitioner has joined PUNEET SACHDEVA 2025.01.22 17:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jagjeet Singh, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for his custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 19.12.2024, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) BNSS.
