(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents - Department to release 50% share of family pension of the petitioner, being the widow of late Sh. Gurpal Singh (Peon-ID No.207846) son of Sh. Sadhu Singh, who had retired from DS Division Rajpura on 31.07.2017 and expired on 09.09.2023.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh, on the same cause of action, with better particulars.
