By way of present petition filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, the petitioner - Gurnam Singh, aged about 75 years, seeks directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take legal action against respondents No.5 to 14 for allegedly cutting the petitioner's crop from his land. The petitioner has also sought directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to ensure that he and his family members are not harassed by respondent No.4 at the instance of respondents No.5 to 14, and further seeks protection of their lives and liberty from the said private respondents.

Faced with the fact that the petitioner has already availed remedies by filing a civil suit and, thereafter, by initiating contempt proceedings, as fairly stated by learned counsel for the petitioner himself, he prays for withdrawal of the instant petition with liberty to avail his alternative remedy, if so advised, or to raise his grievance(s) before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, in view of the judgment of the JAWALA RAM 2025.11.11 18:31 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
