Petition herein is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the Notification Dated 19.11.2020 and 30.12.2020 (Annexure P-1 & P-2) respectively, whereby boundaries of Municipal Council, Sanaur, District Patiala have been extended and the land of village Ishwar Nagar has been merged/included with the Municipal Council Sanaur .

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be satisfied if respondent No.4 i.e. Executive Officer, Municipal Council Sanaur, District Patiala, Punjab, is directed to decide the representation dated 25.09.2020 (Annexure P-3) submitted by the petitioners in respect of their grievance. 3.

Keeping in view the aforesaid limited prayer as regards decision of the representation of the petitioners, we dispose of the present writ petition with direction to respondent No.4 to decide the representation dated 25.09.2020 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioners, within a period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law.
