The instant appeal has been filed by the appellant challenging the impugned order dated 23.10.2025 passed by learned District and Sessions Judge, Mansa, vide which anticipatory bail application of the appellant, arising out of FIR No.188 dated 08.10.2025, registered under Sections351(2), 324(4) of BNSS, 2023 and Section 3(1)(r) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa, has been dismissed.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the offence under Section 3(1)(r) of SC/ST Act has been deleted. He also submits that the appellant has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the appellant and, on instructions from ASI Gurtej Singh, further submits that the offence under Section 3(1)(r) of SC/ST Act is not made out and has been deleted on 13.11.2025. Investigation has been completed and final report has been filed. Now the appellant is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. 4.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present appeal is allowed and order of interim bail dated 10.11.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
