Criminal Misc. Applications bearing No.CRM-2623-2026 (in CRM-M-62416-2025) and CRM-2604-2026 (in CRM-M-583282025), under Section 528 of BNSS, have been filed by the applicants/petitioners, seeking withdrawal of the main cases i.e. CRM-M62416-2025 and CRM-M-58328-2025, which are listed for 16.04.2026. 2.

Learned counsel for the applicants/petitioners submits that applicants/petitioners seek to withdraw both the main petitions, as they intend to approach learned Trial Court/Court of Sessions, by filing a fresh LAVISHA 2026.01.28 18:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC, Chandigarh

CRM-M-62416-2025 and CRM-M-58328-2025 -2bail application. Accordingly, counsel seeks permission to prepone the date of hearing of the main cases to enable withdrawal of the same, with liberty to approach trial Court/Court of Sessions, for availing remedy of concession of bail.

Mr. Neeraj Madaan, Sr. DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the non-applicant/respondent - State and pleads no objection to the prayer made therein. 5.

Considering the averments made in the applications, date of hearing in the main cases is preponed from 16.04.2026 to today itself, i.e., 28.01.2026, and the same are taken on board for disposal. 6.

As a necessary corollary, both the main petitions i.e. CRMM-62416-2025 and CRM-M-58328-2025 are dismissed as withdrawn, with the liberty as sought and recorded here above. 7.

Both the criminal Misc. Applications also stand disposed of. 8.

A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other connected case.
