MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) At the outset, learned standing counsel, on instructions from S.I. Rajesh Kumar, has submitted that the trial is nearing conclusion as the prosecution evidence stands concluded; the case is now fixed for recording of statements of accused under Section 313 of the Cr.P.C.

In the circumstances, keeping in view the allegations levelled against the petitioner as well as the stage of trial, this Court does not deem it fit to extend the concession of bail to the petitioner. 3.

Accordingly, the instant petition stands dismissed. 4.

However, it is made clear that anything observed hereinabove shall not be construed to be an expression of opinion on the merits of the case.
