Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, Punjab to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 13.12.2024 (Annexure P-3) examined in accordance with law, so that the same is disposed off at the earliest.

It is, however, made specifically clear that the aforesaid directions are not to be construed as any kind of protection or any kind of immunity in case the petitioner is wanted in any criminal case or is required to be associated with any inquiry/investigation.
