(Oral) The present first petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.30 dated 04.10.2022 registered under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959; Sections 42, 52-A of the Prisons Act 1894 and Sections 21, 25, 27-A and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station SSOC, District Amritsar.

Status report dated 08.01.2026 by way of an affidavit of Balbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Counter Intelligence, Amritsar has already been filed on behalf of the respondent/State. The same is taken on record 3.

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
