(ORAL) [1] The present Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for issuance of appropriate order or direction to the official respondents No.1 to 3 to form a Special Investigation Team in order to decide the representation dated 11.12.2024 (Annexure P-4).

[2] Learned counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer only for issuance of a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur (respondent No.3) to decide the representation dated 11.12.2024 (Annexure P-4).

[4] Having received advance copy of the petition, Mr. Davinder Bir Singh, Sr. DAG, Punjab, appears and accepts notice on behalf of official respondents No. 1 to 4.

[6] In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur (respondent No.3) to consider and decide the representation dated 11.12.2024 (Annexure P-4) and if some action is warranted, the needful be done in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of the receipt of the certified copy of this order.
